ABOUT ME
I am Teresa Ceregatti, a visual artist with a degree in Fine Arts from the Catholic University of Campinas, SP, Brazil. Born on June 25, 1956, painting on canvas has been my primary hobby since my university days, eventually blossoming into my profession today.
My artworks have been exhibited and sold not only in my city and surrounding regions, but also in Seville, Spain. I currently live in Brazil, and my preferred themes are contemporary florals and abstracts.
My inspiration comes from an inner search for self-knowledge. Ibelieve that every artistic expression is a tool for healing the soul, working unconsciously and subjectively — both for myself, as the artist, and for those who experience the artwork.
That's why I see art as an essential element in people's lives.
Creating with colors and forms, pouring energy into each piece, has the power to transform both environments and people. It is from this need for artistic expression and the connection we feel with a piece of art that the strength of my work emerges.
